Square of the State Flag of the Republic of Belarus

Description

State Flag Square is the newest square of the capital; it was opened on July 2, 2013. 70-meter high flagpole-tower is located in the center of the square. The state flag of the Republic of Belarus flies on top of it. The bronze image of the coat of arms of our country is located at the bottom of the flagpole. Monument signs with the coats of arms of Minsk and other regions of the Republic are located along the perimeter of the square.

The square is the symbol of our country’s sovereignty and independence; is a venue for ceremonial events.
