National Library of Belarus

Description

This is one of the most advanced libraries in Europe, an important scientific and cultural center of Belarus. It houses 20 reading rooms designed for 2 thousand seats. The length of the bookshelves is 90 kilometers.

The interior of the library is decorated with works of contemporary Belarusian artists and sculptors. There is an Art Gallery and the Book Museum.

At the height of 72 meters the observation deck is arranged, where the visitors arrive in panoramic elevator. In the evening, the library facade turns into a large display with unique LED backlighting.
